Glad I got to see you on Sunday and that you are paper piecing, a challenge but worthwhile and so portable. Your mom showed us your baby quilts to be donated and they are nice and colorful(I am into color). Beautiful work.

I always use number 7 or 8 “between” needles. For these quilts I used mostly cotton perle 8. I also used three strands of embroidery thread for the dark purple, not my favorite to hand quilt with, but I didn’t have cotton perle in the right color, it works in a pinch.

I love the color combination! Those were the colors I always used when I was pregnant! Hahaha. One question, what thread and needle do you use to handquilt?
